Not to be confused with Ashley Simpson's song, L.O.V.E, this Taiwanese collection of four short films range from the romantic to the ridiculous. But even the pretty cast of well-known actors can't save this weak and aimless omnibus from sinking into oblivion.
Directed by four first-time directors (online novelist Jiu Ba Dao, well-known lyricist Vincent Fang Wen Shan, commercial director Chen Yi Xian, and TV host Mickey Huang Zi Jiao), this forgettable affair begins with a story of man (Fan Van) who is about to die, so he embarks on a search for another man with a similar voice to his, so the latter can console Fan's loving girlfriend when he dies.
In the second story, Annie Liu plays a woman who has trouble getting over her ex-boyfriend. In the third, Ethan Ruan and Alice Tseng play a couple on the brink of separation. And in the fourth and final story, Tracy Chow plays a nerdy girl yearning for romance.
Yes, the actors are attractive. (Just look at the poster.) But the films aren't particularly good. So we recommend this for T-pop lovers only.
