After "Urban Angel" and "With You," Colorado pop singer Natalie Walker returns this month with her new album "Spark." Walker's music packs an emotive quality that has been featured on popular TV shows like Ugly Betty, Bones and Smallville.
Walker teamed up with her longtime collaborators Dan Chen and Nate Greenber, producers Stuhr (Mya, Nicole Atkins, Bebel Gilberto), and Ted Bruner (Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Plain White T) to craft the delicate, yet adventurous pop that is featured on "Spark." A press release explains that, "the music occupies a sweet spot between pop and electronica, incorporating Moog, vocoders, cellos and pianos into its buttery, evocative mix."
Lead single on "Spark" is the grooving, sensual "Cool Kids." The track has received the remix treatment from the very talented and never boring Remix Artist Collective. Andre Anjos and his team give Walker's original a dash of Studio 54 splendor with a hypnotic disco groove that is a perfect fit for Walker's mesmerizing vocals. Highly recommended.
