Organized by the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival Society Limited, the annual gay film event - the 24th Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival (HKLGFF) 2013 - will take place earlier this year from 18th September to 5th October at the PALACE IFC in Central, The ONE in Tsim Sha Tsui, Broadway Cinematheque in Yau Ma Tei and AMC in Festival Walk.
As the oldest and largest gay and lesbian film festival in Asia, the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival 2013 is proud to present in total 54 films from around the world, exceeding any previous year’s record. The film list includes award-winning feature films, short films and documentaries about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues from all world-class film festivals not limited to Asia. Hong Kong audiences, queer or not, can enjoy a glimpse into the multi-faceted lives of the LGBT community.
