The indie hipsters of Passion Pit create some fire with their throbbing remix of The Ting Tings' new single, "Hands." It is a whole lotta groove for my taste, but Ting Tings fans will eat this one up. Crumbs and all.

The original version refers to the group whirlwind ride of the last two years. "We toured the world for two years and enjoyed every minute of it, but we kind of pushed ourselves a little hard (. . .) In January, we went to Berlin and 'Hands' was the first song we wrote."

"We were so tired and in complete shock about what had happened to us for two years. And everybody we knew -- friends and family, and people we loved and cared about -- they had a really tough year or two while we were traveling. So ['Hands'] was a kind of shout out to those people that we care about," explains singer Katie White.
