The song has been out for months, but now Sabi's "Wild Heart" finally gets a worthy video to give the track a steady push forward. Directed by Mike Mahil, this is Sabi's debut video that comes on the heels of a very successful 2011 for the young singer with features on Cobra Starship’s "You Make Me Feel" and Britney Spears' "(Drop Dead) Beautiful," joining the latter and Nicki Minaj on the Femme Fate tour.
The video for "Wild Heart" expresses the song's theme of a love lost perfectly with scenes picturing faded walls, burning hearts beside an unmade bed, and Sabi crawling over a wooden floor pouring her heart out while looking mighty sexy in the process.
Sabi first emerged on the pop scene in the 2009 when production team The Co-Stars was looking to work with a female duo for Warner Brothers Records. Sabi teamed with pal Ella Ann to form The Bangz, but after Ella Ann fell critically ill their collaboration ended abruptly after only releasing two buzz singles.
With the support of her record label, Sabi plotted a solo career and has been working in the studio with a fine group of writers and producers to tune a unique sound of her own that incorporates both her strength as an MC and vocal abilities. Hitmakers like Benny Blanco, The Cataracs, Diplo and Klas from the Teddybears have all been working with Sabi on tracks for her forthcoming debut album.
