In a press release issued by the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission on Dec 5, the US-based group that addresses human rights violations against LGBTs worldwide said it had learned this week that a 21-year-old Iranian man has been executed for allegedly committing "anal sex crimes" when he was 13.
Neither Mouloodzadeh's family or his lawyer were told about the execution until after it occurred. IGLHRC is still investigating the facts in this case.
"This is a shameful and outrageous travesty of justice and international human rights law," said Paula Ettelbrick, IGLHRC's executive director. "How many more young Iranians have to die before the international community takes action?"
Mouloodzadeh was a 21-year-old Iranian citizen who was accused of committing anal rape (ighab) with other young boys when he was 13 years old. However, at Mouloodzadeh's trial, all the witnesses retracted their pre-trial testimonies, claiming to have lied to the authorities under duress. He told the court that his confession was made under coercion and pleaded not guilty.
On June 7, 2007, the Seventh District Criminal Court of Kermanshah in Western Iran found him guilty and sentenced him to death. Despite his lawyer's appeal, the Supreme Court upheld his death sentence on August 1, 2007. The case caused an international uproar, and prompted a letter writing campaign by IGLHRC and similar actions by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Outrage! and Everyone Group.
In response to mounting public pressure, and following a detailed petition submitted to the Iranian Chief Justice by Mouloodzadeh's lawyer, the Iranian Chief Justice, Ayatollah Seyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahrudi, nullified the impending death sentence of. Mouloodzadeh. In his November 10, 2007 opinion (1/86/8607), the Iranian Chief Justice described the death sentence to be in violation of Islamic teachings, the religious decrees of high-ranking Shiite clerics, and the law of the land.
In accordance with Iranian legal procedure, Mouloodzadeh's case was sent to the Special Supervision Bureau of the Iranian Justice Department, a designated group of judges who are responsible for reviewing and ordering retrials of flawed cases flagged by the Iranian Chief Justice. However, in defiance of the Chief Justice, the judges decided to ratify the original court's ruling and ordered the local authorities to carry out the execution.
Mouloodzadeh's execution came days after a panel at the UN General Assembly passed a resolution calling for a moratorium on the death penalty.
You can read IGLHRC's action alert on their website.
IGLHRC's letter to the Iranian authorities is also posted on their website in both English and Persian.

Dear Makvan. I do not know you. But you feel like a brother to me. I cry because I cannot save you. You are in a better place now, I pray to God that He will look over you. Remember eternity Makvan: the day when we shall judge these murderers, I will not forgive them.
I will remember you, Makvan. You did no wrong that you had died for, rest assured the world knows that.
Nevertheless, we should take this piece of news with a pinch of salt and doubt its reliability as there is a lot of negative propaganda now on Iran especially from Western media. Earlier reports on Iranian authorities hanging 2 teenagers for gay sex were found to be 'dubious' as its Iranian President Ahmanejad claimed earlier in a speech in USA that these 2 persons were hanged also because they were selling culture drugs like 'esctasy' and 'ice' to clubbers in Iran. So they might be gays but they are hanged for another reason i.e. for drug trafficking.
It is a piece that is hard to watch, but something that every GLBT person should see. The link can be found at:

Here it is again:

A story such as this one is a very good indicator why he can say such a thing, as the punitive authoritarian response to an Outed person is, well, extreme.
This latest gay-related execution would appear to be even more disturbing when you look at the facts of the case. So, a 21-year-old- was executed for what he did 8 years ago, when he was aged 13? In what just and righteous society are children executed for their actions? Who can say that a child should be murdered for what they have done, when, most assuredly at 13, they lack the emotional and intellectual development to be responsible for their actions?
The fact that Mr Mouloodzadeh was now classed as an adult, at 21, does not justify such an abhorrent action. You don't let a child carry out an action, and then wait several years, until they are an adult, to carry out such a response. You just don't.
Western bias or not, this execution is another shameful incident in Iran's recent history...

WOW! making that "show" took a lot of guts! Imagine! CBC sending a camera and crew into the capital of the most dangerous of the two remaining axes of Dubya's "evil"; and to tackle such a sensitive subject! To me, it is, at the same time, embarrasing and disgusting to see crap like that on CBC, precisely when our masters to the south are ramping up for a shot at that country. In the past, my wife and I have lived and worked in Iran and came to know the people reasonably well. Your sickening piece was the same sort of garbage used by Israel and the U.S. to soften the public mind for the current debacle in Iraq.
Why the Iranian location? Why not just about any other city, in any other country, in the world?..... including Canada.

It was an interesting documentary. But I wonder what the intent is? Is CBC starting to play its necessary part in preparing the ground for an American invasion (with Canada's help)to "liberate" the Iranians now?
Before and during early part of the invasion in Afghanistan, CBC was repeatedly showing documentaries about the wearing of Burqa by women in Afghanistan and how badly they are treated in that country. After four years into this war, has the situation changed! No, around 95% of the women still live under the same circumstances there. But we don't see that on CBC now. Is it because, Peter Mansbridge has already declared the victory of CBC's agenda there when he sent Salaam to Canadians from Afghanistan and now no more reporting is required on that subject!
I am not questioning the contents of the documentary on Iran, it's the intent, the agenda, the motive behind it.

Anglo-saxon propaganda. It became obvious CBC had an agenda, when it didn't make clear that the two guys hanged in Mashhad had raped children.
I saw more racism and homophobia in my years in Vancouver than I ever saw in Iran. Canada, fix the problem in your own backyard, before preaching to other countries...
My personal concern is if the motive is evil, then whats the use to cover it under the pretext of evil. Iran came into the spotlight now after so many years of silence. In fact, these women in the middle east who wear burqas are so comfortable with their dress codes, and its a matter of their own choice over compulsion. Its a cultural difference and never a religious issue. So what are we to decide for them what they like to do for themselves ? Is this called 'Democracy' ?
To be honest, I make a couple of trips to Middle East for business, and I barely see any gays, except for a few heterosexual middle easterners who have the habit of molesting men cause they are not able to molest women in a strictly Muslim society. Gays is like an alien culture to these countries. As much as we gays try to believe that we are the product of genetic defects, I believe to a certain extent we are also the product of westernisation and its corrupt of moral values.
However, seeing the below line: "As much as we gays try to believe that we are the product of genetic defects, I believe to a certain extent [homosexuals are] also the product of westernisation and its corrupt of moral values" simply makes me think: "MORON!"
What a disgraceful/offensive line, for a number of reasons! Genetic 'defects'?! Excuse me?! Is that an implication that gay people are somehow that way because they formed through some sort of defective, second-rate genetic inheritance that couldn't form a 'normal' person?! That somehow homosexuality is, and always has been, only a Western trait - rather than something which has been found rooted in global cultures throughout the millennia? That gay people are somehow intrinsically morally corrupt, and lacking in good values?! This, from a [presumed] gay member of Fridae!
Jesus. What a lot of insulting implications from Whoever that poster is, neatly tucked away in a few seemingly simple words. It's thanks to specious thinking like that which gives rise to a situation where a society can execute someone on the basis of their sexuality which, let us not forget, is what this thread is Supposed to be about - not about whether or not women in some societies 'should' wear Burqas or not, or about questionable Western governmental ploys to move against another perceived 'enemy' -

Dubai and rape: French youth tells his story (IHT)
http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/10/31/africa/dubai.php
Personally I will boycott all Mid-east/ Muslim countries...they're way too much!!!!
And yes Vercoda, that kind of thinking - that homopsexuality is some genetic defect or the product of 'Western decadance' is sadly very common -even amongst many gays & lesbians-
in S'pore/ Malaysia. How are we going ever going to be a cultured society with such mentality still firmly in place? At best we can only end up like Dubai, where "On the outside is beautiful, but on the inside it's still the third world " ....and NO, I'm not building my future in that kind of society. Period.
Genetic defects ? So, we should be more or less "pyshically challenged" ? Or should we be children of a Lesser God ?. Both don't sound right.
I wouldn't say that we are the product of western values though I must agree to some extent that some of the values held so dearly are difinitely corrupt and will cause us alot of unnecessary harrassments. The western believe produces creativity in every aspect, good and evil but homosexuality can be found in every culture, so lets not put the blame on the west. It's just that too much of the value adopted by most of us are the corrupted type. Sexually, we are what we are and should not be ashamed of our orientation. One word of caution though, it is not glamorous to glorify our orientation like a slut everywhere we go, unless you are really a slut. Certain places on our lovely planet should be left as it is and not painted pink. And if you love the colour pink, simply move to other areas already painted pink. I'm sure this is what Mica is trying to say.
VexX said, "Personally I will boycott all Mid-east/ Muslim countries...they're way too much!!!!" Bit extreme. We do find bad apples everywhere we go. I go to London and New York for parties, used to be Sydney for the Mardi Gras, Egypt for the Pyramids and so on. I need different places of interest for my travels.
Back to the article. If the story from Iran is true, it is tragic. However, all is not lost as the Iranian Chief Justice, Ayatollah Seyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahrudi, did nullified the impending death, as according to the report. Things will not change overnight in any country. We just need to change their opinion by showing our better sides, if there are still any left. Species that survive well always evolve over a long period of time and throughout history, extinction happen in sudden changes. Putting too much force openly on a country like Iran now will simply endanger more innocent lives. You will have blood in your own hands.
On the story of the French Boy, much needs to be verified .... boy gang raped and everything seems to extremely well after the ordeal, as percieved from the report. I hope this is not too graphic but I remembered my first time ... I loved the guy ... he was small .... and it was painfull. Took me at least 3 months of practise to get used to it. In this case straight 15yo raped by 3 probably well endowed arab men and victim seemed bit unfazed in the report with no mention of hospitalisation or trauma ..... happens only in gay porn probably... sad to say story sounded bit far fetched.
In that report they also interviewed "Ko, an Australian of Asian origin who described himself as a "queen," said that his effeminate walk and tight clothes frequently attracted censure from police officers and labor and immigration officials, who would demand sex in exchange for not filing criminal charges or for issuing a work permit". In Dubai ? Who is he trying to seduce ? Comical isn't it ? When we are in another country, we respect their way of life and culture, not forced upon them our alien believe and culture. Imagine parading slutily in a country whose citizens have been suppressing their sexual desires for centuries...simply driving the men beserk. The queen in that story asked for it, PERIOD !
sorry to disagree. I understand what you are trying to say, but to justify violence with something that doesn't please the eyes, that's unacceptable. I'm sure we agree to disagree though. I wouldn't even call that a cultural clash, since the roots of that are the intolerant human nature. It has nothing to do with culture - it's much more sociological or pathological- , but more with how humans behave when facing something they consider as "invading their space" (ANYTHING is an excuse, be it the mannerism, the skin colour," your annoying face", your accent, or whatever).
As for Mica, enough was said. But he keeps on insisting to spread his "agenda". so that everyone feels as miserable as he does. Mica, your problem is not being gay, your problem is one of personality.
Also from the report : A forensic doctor examined Alex the night of the rape, taking swabs from his mouth for DNA and from his anus. He did not take blood tests or examine Alex with a speculum. Then he cleared the room and told Alex in private: "I know you're a homosexual. You can admit it to me. I can tell." Alex, outraged, said he told his father in tears: "I've just been raped by three men, and he's saying I'm a homosexual because my anus is distended."
distended means expand by or as if by internal pressure; dilate. This do not tally a rape .... male rape is extremely traumatic and bloody..... simply weird .... sound like from some porn .... if it is true, the reporter seemed more like writing porn....
This is my conclusion when I read the letters written by them. Hardline words will not work in this case but simply will hasten the process. What sort of power do you have and who are you to demand things from an Islamic Soveriegn government. So, probably they execute him to see what you can do. Alot of Regimes does that to save face and you know the consequence. What sort of stupid strategy is this ???
Bunch of brainless idiots.
Interesting, over the weekend, a friend shared that he will not be attending the ILGA conference to be held in Chiangmai in Jan 08 as he disagrees with their strategies. It has been said that similar hardline tactics used by the ILGA in the Egypt Queen Boat Case had forced the govt to punish the "gay" men since ILGA has claimed them to be, as opposed to the men being punished for immoral actvities.
Honestly I don't know what difference it would have made but I'm not sure if human/gay rights groups should not speak out in case they make matters worse...
Dear Gymhotbod:
My decision to boycott such countries lies not in any cultural or religious vanity nor snobbery toward them. Rather, it is purely for personal safety, thank you very much =)
Also my advise to other plus- if you can't avoid those places, be very, very careful when you're there- I'm sure that's what our friend Gymhotbod meant to say too, if you pardon his patronising tone. Bt I do agree one thing with him though- one really shouldn't expect much from a country whose president (in)famously bragged abt the 'absence' of 'decadant' homosexuals & who treat their women -sociologically speaking- as little better than pariah dogs.
I been to Iran before and the women are happy to be protected by their men. Its all bullshit from the western media that they are being discriminated. Its a culture in Iran that women are carefully taken care of by men to ensure their own safety. Women have always been the backbone of Iranian society. There are women ministers in Iran etc. And the West calls this 'Abuse of Women's Rights'. So that what ? The US will come and liberate them. Its all plain nonsense.
In the US, there are 15,000 murders every year, much much more than any terrorist attacks in the whole world combined together in a year. Why arent the US reporting on each and every crimes happening in their country ? While the west is so busy reporting on 1 or 2 crimes happening in Iran. I am sure the nature of the murders done in the US can be even more gory than what 'Kellen' is trying to refer to a 'rape of a 15 yo French boy by 3 Dubai men'. How often child raping happen in Dubai compared to the US ? U guys are really blind.
The irony is that the west is reporting on a sentence or punishment on criminals in Iran. Shouldnt they be more worried over criminals scot free rather than criminals who are caught and sentenced ?
On top of that, in the US there is an increasing number of so called 'crazy students' who kill or injure other students in their own private schools. The murders are done by Americans in the most gory circumstances, not to mention hundreds of thousands of petty crimes like robbery, kidnapping, rapes etc....Looking at these alone, no one is in the correct mind to say that Middle East or Muslim countries are practicing injustice or crimes unless they have been biased and corrupted by western media. In fact, when I was in Saudi Arabia to work for 2 years, I barely see any thieves, much less murderers or rapes except for these sensationalised news. Though their punishments on criminals are very harsh but why must be worried when we are not criminals ???
Injustices happen everywhere. Its just if you would like to open your eyes bigger and not just to believe whatever the media has overly reported to you.
In anycase, the crimes committed by the 2 gays in Iran at Mashdad is being misreported as homosexual activities whereas their real crimes are drug trafficking and raping of young children. Are they criminals ??? Or you still believe they shouldnt be punished ? Then perhaps we gay should run our own country where child rapists can run free....
www.disastercenter.com/crime/
to give u a better picture on crimes in the US. Approximately 5% of the US population are victims of crime every year and a approximately 1.5 million are victims of violent crimes. This means every citizen runs a risk of facing a criminal act once in 20 years.
On top of that, these victims of crime are traumatised as they found themselves ignored by law enforcements and confused by the court system. (Sorry this is not what I report but by the website. Go read it..)
On top of that, a Chinese report has something to say to open your blind eyes. Refer to
www.mtholyoke.edu/acad/intrel/chindail.htm
Nobody here's saying the US & Canada are paradises on earth; are they? I fact i strongly despise their goverment's hypocrisy, just as i strongly condemn the Iranian government's tyranny. There's this saying that in the US, there 's violence or rape committed by the hour & a murder case for every 2 hrs...this is a common fact & most people know that =) Bt you, honey, are straying from the issue at hand- we're talking abt IRAN here...what has the US/ Canada'a social problems gt to do with this???? Western media dominance, biased reporting...that's an entirely different subject-matter!.
And let me make this clear: child rape/ male rape/ women being abused -forced marriages, 'honor' rapes, prison injustice etc- in Iran is neither myth nor exaggeration- it's a fact.
(I'm sure you read the Straits Times- hardly a Western -style 'sensationalist' paper).
Besides, as a thinking adult, you should understand that reality doesn't always lie in the obvious, do you? By denigrating their situation, you're in effect showing contempt for these victims & their suffering- which I find highly offensive....speaking of which- calling names & telling people to 'open up yr blind eyes' is very uncouth & juvenile dear.
I'm sure yr family-bless them-- taught you better manners? Of course you're free to air yr anger & frustration- bt to be taken seriously, you need polish ;) And a heart, too.
I am sure most of us are mature enough to separate the truth from lies in such reports. To turn the issue into West Vs Middle East or Religious arguement only happens with real no brainers.
Our Gay Life is already difficult. Make Love Not War.
Do remember the facts people. Crap coming from some pro-islamic extremist who was caught red handed using multiple profiles here to deceive and impose her agenda in previous forums. What credibility is there to even begin with, let alone bother with? How can anything significant that comes out of that kampong girl be true? Yawn...zzzz..even my toes are not laughing anymore. It's way past offensive. It's trash-info rape.
Well, just ignore people. Seems more like a nut case who has an insatiable need for attention seeking ploys to fill her lonely meaningless existence.
"In fact, when I was in Saudi Arabia to work for 2 years, I barely see any thieves, much less murderers or rapes except for these sensationalised news."
What a truly brilliant display of stupidity and delusion. Saudi Arabia my foot...haha..give us a break...more like Singapore's Sungei Road Thieves Market. Obviously there are no thieves there since everyone there is family.:D
Go on, keep lying Kampong girl, yea, keep thinking everyone believes you. Keep living in your mental asylum. Keep spreading your agenda. Yea...:)
Wonder if you are made in China too? You should be due for a recall, yes? Too much toxic lead paint. No good. Xie Xie Ni.
Ommmmmm....
U are damn crude and extremist yourself as firstly you are racist in your statements as well as anti-islamic. Never in my statement has I made any personal attacks on anyone.
By the way, if you continue with this illicit statements and remarks, I would have no qualms to report you to the authorities and identify who you are from your IP address.
I think you better grow up to make objective statements and not personal attacks on other people and their rights to opinions.
You should read the reply from Jammyboi and see whether he is more polished than me !!
By the way, I am relating Canada and US to this story because the article was reported by Canada, with an additional short movie which they claimed to have taken in Iran. For goodness sake, if you can believe in such lies, you are indeed been fool. No bloody American or Canadian journalists would dare come to Iran to write on such a very sensitive issue on gays in Iran. Looking at the people and their fashion sense in the movie, it is so obvious they arent Iranians but most probably shot in America or Canada itself.
My advise to u Vexx u better make a social visit to some middle east countries before believing in all and every news reported by western media.
By the way child rapes, molesting of women, abuse of women do happen in Iran but definitely this is just a tip of the iceberg compared to whats happening in the US. This is a fact. Everyone knows. As much as the West is trying to portray Iran as an 'axis of evil' country, the West itself is enveloped by an even bigger evil happening in its own society. There are new crimes never heard before happening in the US like school shootings, eating of mutilated bodies and cult murders, not to mention hundreds of terrorism activities committed by non-muslims every year. Strangely, only those done by Muslims are reported and sensationalised by the US.
In any case, I rest my case. You certainly are educated and are able to see where I coming from. The hanging of the 21yo Iranian is certainly a 'one of its kind' shameful and sad event which should not happen as the Chief Justice of Iran has already said its a wrong move and hopefully this will not happen again in Iran. But think about it, giving you an example, how often do crimes happen in the US and how often the innocents were sentenced as guilty while the guilty manage to escape ? How often the blacks were discriminated against and given heavier sentence compared to the whites in US courts ?? Only God knows...read the website
www.mtholyoke.edu/acad/intrel/chindail.htm to know more....
What I am trying to say is that Iran has been in the spotlight ever since the US has branded Iran as an axis of evil country and probably will be the next country in the US invasion list. Seems like every article in the West carried a certain political agenda with it. When we get paranoid with such news on Iran we should at least be broad minded to think that there are much-much worst crimes happening everywhere including countries which we always consider as 'civilised countries'. So it is unwise to hate the country or its people by just plainly believing on the handful of media reports from the west. In any case, Iran supplied us with 10% of the world's oil which goes to our cars, soaps, essentials, plastics etc...we should instead be grateful to its contribution to the global community.
That said... like a bell chiming, I suddenly remembered - the certain poster below, who has drawn such ire across the boards, is someone who has consistently posted inflammatory comments here and there, almost wilfully seeking to anger people. Silly me! How could I forget that?
I mean, comments in retribution for some mild personal criticism, saying: "I would have no qualms to report you to the authorities and identify who you are from your IP address" don't exactly mark That Holy Joe out as someone able to take criticism very well!
I'd mutter something about empty buckets make the most noise, but that's been More than enough noise from me.
Nevertheless, a final thought - many of the points below seem to sway between People Who Are Criminals Deserve What They Get, and Hey What's Wrong With Places Where You Don't SEE Criminals?
The entire point of Law and Order in society is to build a just and fair set of social rules to bind people together, and the Weight of the Law is to be used fairly, evenly, and blindly - to create Rehabilitation, not serve Revenge. Justice is blind, not bloody, and it is wrong - on a personal, spiritual and responsible level - to shrug and indifferently say, upon hearing of an execution or a quashing of basic, inalienable human rights: "Well, he deserved it..."
Says who? You? Who makes any of us, the nobodies that we All are, rubbing along together in a thing we call 'society', judge, jury, and would-be executioner?
Are we Men, or are we a Mob?! There's Justice, and there's just us, and we've somehow got to be more humane and, simply, wiser in the petty and horrendous wrongs we see - yet fail to see - each and every day...
While we seek to condemn the executions of gay teens in Iran, we must remember that the United States is 1 of only 5 countries in the entire world that executes juvenile offenders.
In fact it was only in March 2005 that the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the death penalty could not be applied to juveniles who committed crimes when they were under the age of 18. Since 2000, countries that have been known to have executed juvenile offenders include China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Pakistan and the United States. Thirteen of these 21 executions of young people have occurred in the United States. While other governments in the Western world continue to move toward a consensus that the death penalty is an inhumane form of punishment - no matter what the crime - the United States refuses to outlaw capital punishment. In 2004, China, Iran, the United States, and Vietnam accounted for 97 per cent of the executions recorded by Amnesty International.
While activists in the United States are quick to condemn the executions of people in the Islamic world, we refuse to look at the issue of capital punishment in the US as it applies to all people - regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The outlawing of capital punishment is not a "gay" issue - but it is a matter of social justice and human rights.
By the way Vercoda, what Jammyboi said is not a mild statement...especially when he can be crude and uneducated enough to call or insult a person as 'Islamic extremist' or 'kampung girl' when the issues we're discussing have nothing to do with 'Islam' or 'kampung'.
BTW vercoda, your posting #28 made me look at my ownself, and be ashamed but very much wiser.Thank you.
Anyway, back to the article, if it is true, lets hope that Makvan Mouloodzadeh didn't die in vain. IGLHRC's action endanger innocent lives and we should not be associated with them till they take a more strategic stance least more lives be lost. Maybe we should be involved in diplomacy and negotiate with governments to help gays who are persecuted in their own country, bring them to a promised land, where everything is gay. We can have a contest to chose a name for this country ......... MAYBE You Will When You Believe ....... bit absurd ..... just in case you are thinking of it too .... but with every action will come a reaction which may be violent ..... and what is the price we have to pay ...... lets be responsible for our own speech and not doing something where someone else have to pay the price
Thank you for your feedback but seems like u are judging me again instead of the opinions that i forwarded.
Basically what i provide in this opinion box are just factual information. In no way does it make me having the 'beseiged' mentality as u presume..U kinda funny though...thinking I am not attached and attaching happiness with being attached. Does being single make one's unhappy ? All these come to questioning things revolving around my personal life. Like i am not a happy person etc etc...do u know me so well to make such conclusions ??? U are very funny...
When humans fail to accept factual information and instead believe on something which we can categorise as 'misleading or false information' that makes a world of difference...Also stereotyping countries and people have been a trademark in this opinion box.
What i am trying to say is Iran is wrong to persecute the 21 yo guy, but at the same time I am saying that execution of juvenile offenders do not only happen in Iran cause it occurs in the US, Vietnam and a few other countries. In fact 13 out of 21 executions on juveniles were done by the US in 2000. The US also has a bad history of discrimination and unfair treatment of prisoners similar to Iran or perhaps worst.
So we shouldnt be pinpointing so much on Iran instead the world including us gays should be more concern on this problem on a global scale. We should be more broad minded to think in a logical manner and not just to entirely base our judgments using the western media as a form of measurements. After all we are Asians.
I strongly agree what Mica has mentioned (particularly post #31 last paragrah) about his comments.
Please stop judging or pinpointing others, that act is such a ridiculously fatuos.
"To err is human","nobody is perfect". Try to give a good comments
Problem is the way he put it. Mica is angry in many political issues and tends to link them up, which makes him angry, which will make many aviod him altogether. which is not appropriate, at the wrong timing etc etc. He should be airing his views in other articles or forum. He's like a child ... "he did it also" ... cane him too .... and it's everywhere he behaves so. Yes, we are caning the West, but it is elsewhere.
I made mistake, but when others pointed out my problems, I pause, and admit, and try not to be defensive ..... which If I do will make a further fool out of myself ...... In my post 29, I did admit my own shortcoming, and it felt good inside.
One good thing out of this whole fiasco ... who says gays are not interested in world politics and heavy issues :)

Wa, report me to the authoritiesOoooo, that's so butch! Which one? The islamic council of Micarena, Iran??? :P
Better hurry oh tyrannical one cos can't really talk .Gotta run. Gotta catch a donkey to Iran and Saudi Arabia for that wonderful crime free Christmas holiday. Hmm...so much lies in the world media. Will I be molested in a STRICTLY (whip whip) muslim country whilst sipping WESTERN tea? Sigh, so much IMPORTANT facts to consider..:P

PS: As usual, gymhotbod, dito x 10. Oops, I better not say more or like Lady MacBeth says, "Off with their heads!"..:P~
Views are varied in my country on the issue of this incident but far from what is presented by Mica on western media, the massive majority agrees that Iran is and always will be an extremist state on many matters. I have no patience nor interest to get into argument with this Moron; as from past postings here, his absurd stupidity reigned supreme. By the way, what happened to all the articles on S377A? It just vanished. Amazing.
Personally I see alot similarities between Christianity and Islam. Both are offensively exclusive and intolerant. Both believe everyone else is lost unless they convert to their faith and honestly believe they are doing God's work through their own judgements. Man, are they in for a big surprise.
Only difference between them?
One uses verbal violence whilst the other uses barbaric violence. Guess who does what , if not both.
If the above article is in fact a fact, then what has happened in Iran is a disgusting and deplorable crime committed by the theocratic legal system against the common man. Therefore our outrage.
"As much as we gays try to believe that we are the product of genetic defects," - I am sorry you may have been indoctrined to feel this way about yourself but posting such a demeaning and debased comment in a very gay public forum is just fcked up.
Stop behaving like a victim and recognise your ignorance causes disharmony too.
Censorship. Too much truth were spoken and it begins to hurt someone alot.... Ouch !!!
anyway, this is a world of conflict, so: embrass it or die of broken-heart hahaha!
yet i shall state my view:
there's no doubt both muslim countries and the U.S.A. are not so friendly with us gay. yet, think about it, i would rather choose the christians as, at least, they don't prosecute gay publicly (lest they want to get shot in return, hehe) . and my! haven't you noticed that, those countries which treat women badly are treating gay as equally bad too?
maybe that's this wish in our heart these days: we don't want to be religious as religions have lost its function as to bring peace (instead, war and conflict) to the world; what all of us want is always to be a better person. so, state your view and be nice........... MERRY CHRISTMAS and assalamulaikum (hehehe)
