Three of the hottest boys in Hong Kong cinema team up for an action flick by hot director Benny Chan (Divergence, Rob-B-Hood).
Nicholas Tse plays a hard-nosed, hot-headed detective out to seek justice. Jaycee Chan (son of Jackie) and Shawn Yue play two cops with two completely different work styles. The three go against the utterly powerful and ruthless leader of robbers (Wu Jing) with disastrous consequences.
Invisible Target offers the usual thrills, spills, firepower and explosions, as director Benny Chan proves his flair for the action genre once again. Nicholas and Shawn have become such maestros of the action genres that they can probably deliver their roles with their eyes closed. On the other hand, Jaycee despite executing his own stunts doesn't seem to be as comfortable with the genre as his father is.
Queers who still love the Hong Kong action genre should certainly catch it. For the rest, it's not a must-see.
