Ever so often, teen comedies like American Pie and Superbad arrive in our cinemas and surprise us with their spot-on bawdy humour and aw-shucks youthful sentiments. Full of It is not one of those movies, even though it aspires to be.
Ryan Pinkston plays an unattractive high school boy who is desperate to be popular with the right crowd and get the attention of girls. So desperate, in fact, that he begins to tell outrageous lies just to get people's attention.
Weirdly enough, some of his lies actually come true. His father really does become a rock star, his hot blonde teacher falls madly in love with him, and his dog really ate his homework! What was supposed to be his dream lifestyle gradually turns into a nightmare.
Stale and predictable, Full of It is really just full of cliches.
