After a short stint as a drummer with the now defunct Ladyfuzz, the bedroom virtuoso took matters in his own hands. "I use a computer machine and some instruments to make popular songs. Most of my songs are in the key of E," he says in a press release. Hipper than hip indie label Merok saw the potential and signed him to their roster after previously launching the careers of alt-pop bands like The Klaxons, Crystal Castles and The Teenagers.
