Listen to Katy Perry

After Madonna gave her two thumbs up, Katy Perry is popping up on radio stations around the country with her new track "I Kissed A Girl." The song is taken from her forthcoming LP "One Of The Boys."

It is quite a different tune than "Ur So Gay," and some have even compared the intensity of the song to Kelly Clarkson's ultra-hooky "Since U Been Gone." I wouldn't go quite that far, but I do think that Perry (in her '50s pin-up do) might have a huge summer smash in the making.

Check out the entire track or listen to Jason Nevins' peppered remix of the song. Nevins helped made Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" a big hit in the clubs and he might help Perry accomplish the same with this new mix. (Click here to download "I Kissed A Girl" in the Amazon.com MP3 Store.)
