Listen to Keane Radio Interview with BBC's Steve Lamacq

Keane's Tom Chaplin called into a bunch of radio shows this week to discuss the group's new track "Spiralling" that is available for free on the Keane web site.

In a brief phone interview with BBC 6's Steve Lamacq, Tom Chaplin talks about the creative process behind the making of their new album "Perfect Symmetry"  that the band recorded in Berlin with the help of Stuart Price.

Lamacq also inquires about Chaplin's state of mind during the making of their 2006 album "Under The Iron Sea," and his stint in rehab that threw off the promotional activities for the album and a tour cancellation in the States.  Chaplin discusses openly how difficult that time was and how badly it affected the dynamics of group.

Things are a lot different now. With a fresh new haircut and positive outlook on life, Chaplin explains that "Spiralling" is a good example of the new, revitalized Keane that is bringing back the "fun and exuberance" that marked the band's early days.
