Featuring terrific gay characters like Kevin (Matthew Rhys) and his boyfriend Scotty (Luke MacFarlane), Brothers and Sisters has successfully managed to portray LGBTs as dutiful sons, loyal siblings, romantic lovers and successful professionals � in short, as good upstanding people.

The new Season 3 opens with the Walkers family planning a family vacation on the beach. Kevin tries to arrange a getaway weekend for him and his boyfriend Scotty but things take a turn when a face from the past contacts him. Who could this person be?

Incidentally, Luke MacFarlane who plays Scotty has dated T R Knight of Grey's Anatomy and Wentworth Miller of Prison Break. That boy sure gets around...
