It's a bit like Fischerspooner hooking up with Scissor Sisters with a hot Montreal twist.

The foursome started out as a dance troop put together by choreographer Fritz Helder. It has turned into a live music entertainment group that is made up of Helder (vocals), Silk (guitar, synths), Pastel Supernova (vocals) and Diego (vocals). The freak funky "Lagerfeld Lady" is taken from the group debut album "Greatest Hits" that was released in Canada last year. Go have a listen to it here.

Fritz Helder & The Phantoms is performing together with Lady Gaga, The Ones and Semi-Precious Weapons on Wednesday for a very exclusive showcase at the Highline Ballroom in Chelsea.
