Hirasawa, who is a huge fan of Rufus Wainwright, has become a familiar figure on Swedish TV and the radio charts, but she maintains serious indie cred thanks to her sophisticated yet homegrown approach, employing cellos, violins, clarinets and trumpets, as well as guitar-bass-drums and piano. Most recently, she charmed the Sweded by transforming the rocked-up number "The Worrying Kind" from Swedish glam rockers The Ark into a plaintive ballad, which is included on the U.S. version of the album.
Check out the guilt-free MP3 of "And I Found This Boy," a happy go lucky lune that invokes memories of Feist, Regina Spektor and a less angsty Bjork. Watch the video for the song here.
