Produced in collaboration with Baltimore DJ Blaqstarr, the song is taken from his new LP "Colin Munroe Is The Unsung Hero"

that features Munroe's experimentation with different genres and
moods. That may all sound a little cliche, but Munroe's effort is truly diverse and even endearing at times. Listen to "As Much As You" and you'll find that his sound is polished, totally fresh and ready for prime time.

He started it all on his grand father's attic by assembling lots of different instruments to toy around with. The LP was finalized in Atlanta with the help of Dallas Austin who understood Monroe's vision of breaking down barriers. "I didn't make any plans to incorporate any particular genres. I just do what feels natural. I think I'm part of the first generation that is truly without genre barriers," Monroe says in an interview.

"It used to be that kids were rock kids, hip hop kids, punk kids and so on. But these days everyone's playlists have everything on them and we are able to understand and move comfortably between genres without it seeming fake or forced," he adds.
