Moscow DJ Alexander Xuman is stirring up a hot dancefloor frenzy in Europe with his new single "Panic." The trick is a groovy slice of funked up electro-pop goodness that to some echoes the great sounds of artists like Daft Punk and Hot Chip. All comparisons aside it is mostly an accomplished production that borrows from a lot of different influences, but is primarily just a great summer track that comes with an excellent video as well.
Xuman explains that "Panic" is about "staying strong during a rough time" when "the first instinct is to usually panic. It is the feel-good song of the summer that gets you moving on the dance floor, jamming in your car, or walking down the street." "Panic" was released in both the U.K. and U.S. early July via AWAL and Xuman Records. And remember, when you're about to pull out your hair and had a totally dismal day at work - all you need to is spin a little Xuman, and more importantly, don't panic!
