Frequent readers of this blog may remember that back in March I wrote about being in Amsterdam on the set of the shoot of Far East Movement's video for their massive new single, "Live My Life" featuring Justin Bieber. It's was a wintery but very fun day that stirred a riot across the city's historic city center and made headlines on the Dutch evening news.
Directed by Mickey Finnegan, the shoot of "Live My Life" was an elaborate production featuring lots of extras, flashmob dancing in front of Amsterdam's centuries-old architecture and a Party Rock party bus that drove all over the city center for hours with Far East Movement, RedFoo and his Party rock crew performing the song while hundreds of young fans followed on bikes and running along with the bus to catch every moment.
After first premiering the video for RedFoo's Party Rock remix of "Live My Life," Far East Movement has now also unveiled a new version of the video that features the radio edit of the song. This newer video once again features my hometown of Amsterdam, colorful and party-starting scenes with Far East Movement and RedFoo, plus a quick scene of me, myself and I doing what I love doing most. Check for my quick cameo around the 3:30 minute mark.
The video is exploding on YouTube and across television screens in Europe, and it's truly an incredible honor to be featured in the video. A big thank you to Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Spliff, DJ Virman, and their entire team for being so generous.
