We invite the entire SALGA community — and our friends at Q-Waveand GAPIMNY — to come celebrate a milestone with us — the official Launch Party of theTransgender/Ally web resource page on our SALGA website! We’re really proud of this accomplishment and we hope you are, too.
The webpage provides resources for those exploring their gender identities, for friends and family who want to know how to support a loved one, and for those ⋯⋯who want to be transgender allies but don’t yet know how. This colorful page with everything from an NPR radio story to healthcare options in NYC to personal blog narratives is a resource for all of us — be sure to check it out!
The Launch Party will be held at the beautiful NIRVANA lounge located on Lexington Ave at 40th Street. Appetizers will be provided, Bollywood tunes and Caribbean beats will flow thanks to the stylings of DJ Sue, and did we mention — PRIZES?
The first 10 people to arrive at the door and say “I am a transgender ally” will receive a ticket good for one free drink!
This event was made possible by the generosity of the folks at NIRVANA and is FREE to attend. This event is co-sponsored by our allies at Q-Wave and GAPIMNY. Everyone is welcome!
FREE to attend - RSVP: Deen (deen@salganyc.org)
