Documentary maker Morgan Spurlock became instantly famous with his first funny film, Supersize Me, which had him chronicling the deterioration of his health from eating nothing but McDonald's meals everyday.
His new documentary, the lengthily-titled Where in the World is Osama bin Laden?, has him visiting Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, trying to have a better picture of Islam and to search for the terrorist Osama Bin Laden.
He finds out somewhat late since they've been in the news for a long time now that the America's baseless war in Iraq has only caused terrorism to flourish, that majority of Muslims live perfectly ordinary lives, and that women are not free in Saudi Arabia. Um, so?
Nothing he's saying here is new, of course. But he does say it in the most charming and unusual way that you can't help but be entertained. A must-watch for documentary lovers.
